Microcat Authorisation Server (MAS) provides dealerships with concurrent licensing options.
Each license option will store a pool of licenses accessible from any computer on the network.
As the popularity of Microcat has grown within dealerships, so to has the need to run multiple licences concurrently.
To make this as easy as possible, Infomedia now offers dealerships the following user-friendly licencing options:
Concurrent – This option creates a ‘pool’ of available user licenses on a LAN, so they can be used by any user on a first come, first served basis. For example, concurrent licencing enables warranty staff to use Microcat at their desktop to determine the price of parts, whilst an account receivables clerk could use Microcat at their desk to research a supply and billing question.
There is also a ‘reserved licence’ option which enables an allocated user to always have access to Microcat.
Fixed – This licencing option is provided for one user on a particular IP address. Only the user specified on that particular IP address can gain access to the designated Microcat licence.
Fixed and concurrent licencing combination – This option facilitates a combination of fixed and concurrent licensing depending on the specific requirements of a dealership.
